How You’ll Make An Impact
As a
Country Manager, Indonesia,
you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving strategic leadership and operational oversight across our Additives and Advanced materials business in Indonesia as the Country Leader and Director of the Board. In addition, you’ll manage two direct reports and be responsible for the overall performance and growth of Lubrizol's Additives business in the region. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:
Additives and Advanced Materials Management
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed the sales targets and business objectives for the additives and advanced materials sector in Indonesia. (Sales Strategy)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. (Customer Relationship Management)
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and provide insights and recommendations to the management team. (Market Analysis)
Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficient and effective sales operations. (Sales Process Management)
Supervise and guide two direct reports, ensuring their professional development and performance alignment with organizational goals. (Team Leadership)
Country Leader Responsibilities
Oversee all company operations in Indonesia, ensuring alignment with global strategies and local market needs. (Strategic Leadership)
Collaborate with various departments including marketing, technical service, supply chain, and finance to ensure integrated efforts towards business success and customer satisfaction. (Cross-functional Collaboration)
Ensure all activities comply with Lubrizol’s policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements. (Regulatory Compliance)
Oversee the financial performance of the Indonesia business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. (Financial Oversight)
Identify and manage risks associated with the business operations in Indonesia. (Risk Management)
Prepare regular reports and forecasts, analyze performance metrics, and present findings and recommendations to regional and global senior management. (Reporting)
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Industry Experience
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the chemical or additives industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Board experience is an advantage.
Leadership Experience
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of the additives and advanced materials market in Indonesia.
Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Relevant Soft Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward
An advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
