Purchasing Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, price negotiation, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow-up.

Ensure materials, components, and indirect goods are ordered on time according to production schedules.

Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness) and take corrective actions when needed.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.

Evaluate purchase requests and ensure compliance with company standards, budget, and procurement policies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers, especially Chinese-speaking vendors.

Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any major.

Minimum

3–5 years experience

as supervisor purchasing/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience handling suppliers from China or Chinese-speaking regions is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, cost analysis, and supply chain principles.

Familiarity with manufacturing materials (raw materials, components, MRO, spare parts) is an advantage.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

Strong problem-solving capability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
