Job Description
As an Operations Director who will report to the CEO and work closely with the regional COO, your main responsibilities will include:
Overseeing day-to-day operations for
large-scale projects , ensuring service delivery meets contractual and quality standards.
Managing and optimizing a large workforce, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
Maintaining
strong relationships
with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
Monitoring KPIs and preparing regular reports for senior leadership on operational performance and workforce productivity.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices.
Developing and implementing strategies to meet organisational goals within the business services industry.
Monitoring and improving operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in Indonesia.
Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Director should have excellent communication in both Bahasa and English, and proven senior leadership skill. Other requirements include:
A degree in business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role within related industry (ideally industry with heavy workforce such as logistics, retail, manufacturing facilities).
At least 18+ years of working experience in general management, operation or commercial with experience of leading at least 300+ people.
Strong ability to manage large, diverse teams across multiple sites.
Excellent client relationship management skills with a track record of building long-term partnerships.
Solid understanding of operational processes, budgeting, and cost control.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale operations effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive operational improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of industry trends.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
