We are looking for a QA Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in manual testing and a minimum of 1 year in automation testing. The candidate should have a solid understanding of SDLC processes, QA methodology, defect tracking, and reporting. They should be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, time-critical environment to deliver high-quality, stable software.

Experience in automating test scripts for applications built on WPF, .NET, Java, or web-based platforms is an advantage. Familiarity with Katalon Studio or other automation tools is desirable but not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities:

Analyse requirements and design effective test strategies

Participate in preparing and reviewing test plans

Create detailed test scenarios and test cases for module, integration, and system testing

Prepare and maintain test data and environments

Review and validate test cases prepared by other team members

Execute test cases and document results

Log, track, and validate defects through resolution li

Communicate effectively with developers and test leads regarding issues and fixes

Prepare summary reports and maintain test documentation

Capture lessons learned and contribute to process improvements

Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance product quality

Oil and Gas domain knowledge is preferred.

Knowledge and Competencies:

Essential:

Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Cassandra, etc.)

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Experience in creating and maintaining test cases and test documentation

Proficiency in defect management and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Good communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset

Desirable:

Experience with Katalon Studio or other automation tools (Selenium, TestComplete, JMeter)

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, JavaScript)

Exposure to cloud-based applications or distributed systems

Experience working on Linux environments

Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry systems or real-time data applications
