Network Quality Engineer (Project Based) Jakarta, ID

Company Overview Since its establishment in 2000 up to the present, the Company is a domestic telecommunications service network operator that runs its business in the field of broadband ecosystems, namely the internet, data centers, interconnection network leases, domestic and international.

Responsibilities

Design IP network architecture/topology (e.g., MPLS, IP/MPLS, Segment Routing).

Analyze and determine capacity requirements and IP network topology.

Configure routers, switches, and other transport devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei) according to routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and ISIS.

Work closely with teams (Engineering, Operations, and Project).

Create and update technical documentation, such as HLD/LLD (High/Low‑Level Design).

Able to analyze and ensure IP transport network security through firewalls, ACLs, and segmentation.

Able to measure and maintain network Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and optimize performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00 from a reputable university.

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar position.

Mastery of IP & DWDM Topology concepts and Network Architecture.

Routing & MPLS (Core ISP), Switching & VLAN management, Traffic analysis & optimization.

Proficient in using network monitoring tools (such as LibreNMS and Cacti or SolarWinds, Zabbix, NetFlow).

Proficient in analyzing and handling IP network outages or incidents.

Cisco CCNA or Huawei HCIA certifications are preferred.
