Freight Forwarding Operation Assistant Manager

About the role Join PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia, part of Samsung Group Global focusing on freight forwarding and logistics industry, as a Freight Forwarding Operation professional. This full‑time role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, and will be an integral part of our dynamic operations team.

What you'll be doing

Manage the end‑to‑end freight forwarding process, including shipment planning, documentation, and customer coordination.

Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods by liaising with carriers, customs, and other stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records and database of freight movements and costs.

Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the freight forwarding process.

Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external clients.

Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve freight forwarding operations.

What we're looking for Minimum 8 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations

Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and regulations.

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
