Export Import Associate

Responsibilities

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouses

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws

Handle customs clearance process (PIB/PEB)

Coordinate with internal teams (Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse)

Maintain accurate records and filing of export‑import documents

Resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies

Support cost analysis related to shipping and logistics

Requirements

Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics, Management, Business, or a related field

Active proficiency in English, both written and spoken

At least 4 years of experience as an Export–Import / Logistics / EXIM Staff

Strong understanding of export–import processes, customs documentation, and customs clearance

Good knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, and PIB/PEB documentation

Experienced in coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Strong communication skills with high attention to detail in administrative work

Able to work independently as well as in a team

Able to work under tight deadlines and handle work pressure
