Electrical Engineer (Chinese fluency highly preferred) Position Summary: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the company's electrical engineering projects across Southeast Asia, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader with deep practical experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and expertise in electrical systems.

Note: This role requires proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English for the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end‑to‑end design of low‑voltage power distribution systems, from concept through schematic and wiring diagram creation. Deliver complete design packages for 10+ small to mid‑size electrical projects per year.

Design and specify explosion‑proof equipment in strict accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Perform rigorous quality assurance checks on explosion‑proof equipment to validate its safety, reliability, and performance before deployment.

Lead on‑site installation, commissioning, and startup activities, and provide ongoing operational management and preventive maintenance for equipment.

Develop and execute training programs for client technicians, empowering them with the knowledge and skills for safe operation and effective troubleshooting.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).

Language Proficiency (Mandatory) Primary Working Languages: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English for day‑to‑day technical communication.

Technical Documentation: Proficient in English for reading and comprehending technical manuals, datasheets, and standards.

On‑Site Communication: Working proficiency in Indonesian for basic work and daily life communication is required. Proficiency in English is also essential for on‑site coordination.

Experience A minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in electrical design, commissioning, debugging, or maintenance, with a proven ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of small‑to‑medium scale electrical projects.

Experience in industrial Oil & Gas, automation, new energy (PV/wind), smart manufacturing, or related sectors is highly preferred.

Hands‑on experience in PLC and electromechanical systems, with strong skills in PLC programming and mechanical‑electrical integration.

Skills

Proficient in creating electrical drawings (schematics, layouts) using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN. Familiar with GB or IEC standards.

Hands‑on experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, configuration, and debugging (Siemens TIA Portal platforms, etc.).

Solid knowledge of power distribution system design, component selection (e.g., circuit breakers, drives, contactors), and complex troubleshooting.

Understanding of the full equipment lifecycle (installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance) for electrical systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and team development abilities.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills using data‑driven approaches.

Knowledge of explosion‑proof electrical equipment.

Understanding of the operating principles and performance characteristics of common electronic and electrical components.

Preferred Qualification

Knowledge of electrical system simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink) or data analysis with Python.

Possession of international or industry‑recognized certifications (e.g., PMP, Siemens/Rockwell advanced certifications).
