ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

Responsibilities

Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, including staffing, inventory, customer service, and financial management

Leading and motivating the restaurant team to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Monitoring and analysing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality and in a timely manner

Resolving customer complaints and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

Assisting with the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience

Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis

Familiarity with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
