Overview

Storage Presales Architect for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Hybrid role with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. Job Description

Responsible for architecting solutions that enable customer business outcomes within a specific technical domain or across the broader portfolio (hardware, software, services, and as-a-service offerings). Develops and articulates compelling, accurate proposals and ensures customer business and technical requirements are met. Provides technical expertise to sales teams and customers through presentations, demonstrations, and other engagements. Responsibilities

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of one or more solution domains, company products and services, and the customerโ€™s technical and business environment. Develop compelling customer proposals, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure requirements are met. Quantify business impact, articulate value, and identify strengths/weaknesses of proposed solutions to achieve long-term objectives. Translate customer outcomes into functional designs and scalable technical architectures. Communicate how the solution delivers value and tracks emerging technologies relevant to the customer. Contribute to industry development through conferences, demos, and industry events; monitor relevant social media and industry trends. Gather competitive intelligence to inform account strategy and support. Drive Account Business Planning and collaborate with account teams to build relationships at all levels. Produce in-depth analyses of alternative approaches to meet requirements. Design and size workloads to balance cost, scope, scale, and benefits to deliver value and increase win rate. Leverage partner knowledge to maximize deal value and transfer knowledge to external partners to deliver effective solutions. Proactively build and manage the pipeline, identify opportunities, and nurture deals from opportunity to close. Participate in sales forecast meetings and contribute to accelerating the sales lifecycle. Document ongoing work and share best practices with peers and partners. Qualifications

First-level university technical degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred. 8โ€“12 years of technical IT experience with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, certifications are helpful but not required. Advanced experience with solution configurations, demos/POCs, and translating customer requirements into technical designs. Advanced understanding of product/service portfolio, and ability to assemble integrated solutions and workloads. Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills; English proficiency and local language as needed. Strong business acumen, including understanding of TCO/ROI, CRM usage, and go-to-market strategies with partners. Proven consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing. Ability to design and deliver live product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs. Experience with partner ecosystems and leveraging partner offerings in deals. Knowledge And Skills

Ability to lead solution configurations and create demos/POCs to meet customer requirements. Deep understanding of portfolio products, services, and how to combine them to address customer needs. Ability to translate aaS models and ecosystem values into customer outcomes and optimize for value. Strong cross-functional collaboration and advanced communication skills in English (and local languages as needed). Strategic planning, account planning, and experience with CRM systems and tools.
