TESTING ENGINEER (Power Transformer)

Responsibilities

Perform routine, special test and type testing of power transformers according to international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ANSI).

Qualification Requirements Education:

Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power or High Voltage.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage electrical equipment testing (transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, or similar power equipment), transformer power Master Padmounted Transformer (MPT) and quality assurance.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of power transformer design and testing standards (IEC 60076, IEEE C57).

Familiar with high‑voltage testing procedures and safety protocols.

Basic understanding of electrical protection and measurement systems.

Familiar with electrical drawings and interlock trip designed for support functional test.

Skilled in using Microsoft Office and technical reporting.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Attention to detail and high accuracy.

Ability to work independently or in a team.

Discipline, safety‑oriented, and willing to work under pressure or overtime if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in transformer testing or Electrical Specialist (AK3 Listrik).

Experience in FAT reporting in power transformer manufacturing.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
