About the Role
The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end operational flow for FGO. This position supports demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and customer logistics, ensuring products move efficiently from our suppliers to customers.
This is a highly analytical, execution-focused role within a lean team. You will help maintain healthy inventory, track and resolve operational risks, manage production and purchase orders, and ensure accurate communication between internal teams, warehouses, and contract manufacturers. You will also support continuous improvement work across the supply chain.

What You’ll Do
Demand, Supply & Inventory Support
Maintain and update short- and long-term demand and supply plans under guidance from Operations leadership.
Monitor weekly and monthly forecasts and translate demand into actionable supply and
production plans.
Track inventory levels, identify risks (overstock, stockouts, expirations), and propose corrective actions.
Support forward-looking inventory projections and KPI tracking.
Production & Purchase Order Management
Create and manage Purchase Orders with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
Ensure timely production scheduling, materials availability, and shipment readiness.
Follow up with partners to confirm on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.
Escalate delays and operational risks, and recommend mitigation plans.
Logistics & Customer Logistics
Partner with 3PLs to ensure smooth inbounding, rotation, storage, and outbound fulfillment.
Coordinate with Customer Logistics to resolve shipping issues, shortages, or order constraints.
Monitor lead times, shipment status, and transportation performance.
Operational Communication & Cross-Functional Alignment
Facilitate weekly S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) meetings; track actions and drive follow-ups.
Collaborate closely with Amazon, Sales, Brand, Finance, and QA on operational needs and priorities.
Maintain clear communication with contract manufacturers to ensure alignment on production, materials, and timelines.
Tools, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Build and maintain tools, trackers, and dashboards that support decision-making.
Analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and production attainment.
Support initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, shorten lead times, and enhance accuracy.
Document SOPs and help strengthen operational workflows.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
5+ years relevant experience in supply chain, inventory planning, forecasting or procurement
Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, meticulous and extreme accuracy required
Strong knowledge of S&OP processes (demand planning, inventory management processes)
Proficient Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, intermediate functions)
Extensive spreadsheet analysis
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and precision
Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems (NetSuite Preferred)
CPG industry experience preferred; Food and Beverage industry an asset
Experience working with Contract Manufacturing partners
Experience with raw lead times & expirations preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Long-term (12+month) strategic planning experience preferred
Certified or working toward certification as CPIM or CSCP by APICS preferred
