About the Client Our client is a leading enterprise undergoing digital procurement transformation across multiple business units. The organization is implementing Coupa’s Spend Management platform to optimize Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, improve spend visibility, and enhance supplier governance.

The environment offers strong exposure to ERP integration, finance transformation, and enterprise automation initiatives.

Role Overview The Coupa Implementation Consultant will lead the end-to-end configuration and deployment of Coupa modules across procurement, sourcing, invoicing, and contract management functions.

This role acts as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Coupa is configured to align with operational, financial, and compliance objectives.

This position is ideal for professionals with strong functional procurement knowledge and hands‑on Coupa system expertise.

Key Responsibilities Business Process Transformation

Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops to document “As‑Is” and design “To‑Be” processes.

Align business workflows with Coupa best practices.

Advise stakeholders on process optimization opportunities.

System Configuration & Deployment Configure Coupa modules including:

Procurement

Invoicing

Expenses

Sourcing

Contract Management

Set up approval workflows, accounting structures, and supplier enablement processes. Ensure configuration aligns with compliance and internal control standards. Work closely with technical teams to integrate Coupa with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Support integration using APIs, cXML, JSON, and flat file mechanisms. Validate master data synchronization and transaction flow accuracy.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop test scripts and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Track and resolve defects during implementation cycles.

Ensure successful go‑live with minimal operational disruption.

Change Management & Training

Develop training materials and user documentation.

Conduct training sessions for end users and super users.

Drive adoption and ensure smooth transition to the new system.

Release & Continuous Improvement

Evaluate Coupa’s tri‑annual system releases.

Assess impact of new features and recommend enhancements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the spend management ecosystem.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related discipline.

3–8 years of relevant Coupa implementation or administration experience.

Experience in large enterprise or multi‑entity environments preferred.

Exposure to digital procurement transformation projects is an advantage.
