In response to the escalating demand from our diverse client base, there is a clear strategic imperative to significantly enhance our production capabilities, specifically in the realm of video content and campaign creatives. This shift acknowledges the critical role that video-led assets now play across all digital platforms, particularly in driving engagement for advertisements and social media initiatives.

We must develop streamlined workflows, adopt cutting-edge editing tools, and potentially expand our internal and external creative resources to meet this heightened requirement. Role Overview
You will edit short-form videos, campaign ads, testimonials, event clips, and educational content. You must be comfortable building variations for testing, and optimising edits based on performance insights
Responsibilities and Scope of Work: Video Editing
The primary focus of this role is the creation and refinement of compelling video content across multiple formats and platforms. You will be responsible for the end-to-end editing of a diverse portfolio of video assets, ensuring high quality and alignment with brand objectives.
Your core duties will include, but not be limited to:
Short-Form Video Production:
Expertly editing dynamic, attention-grabbing videos tailored for social media platforms (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Shorts). This requires an acute understanding of pacing, current platform trends, and maximizing engagement in brief runtimes.
Campaign Advertisements:
Producing polished, high-impact campaign advertisements designed for specific marketing goals (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, product launches). This involves meticulous sound design, color correction, motion graphics integration, and adherence to strict creative briefs.
Testimonial and Case Study Videos:
Crafting authentic, persuasive narrative-driven videos from raw interview footage. This requires strong storytelling skills to highlight customer success stories and build trust with the audience.
Event Highlight Clips:
Rapidly editing exciting, fast-paced highlight reels from live events, conferences, and internal gatherings. Timeliness and conveying the energy of the event are critical for post-event engagement.
Educational and Long-Form Content:
Editing structured, informative videos such as tutorials, webinars, product demos, and deep-dive explanations. Focus must be placed on clarity, logical flow, and viewer retention.
Optimisation and Performance-Driven Editing:
A crucial aspect of this role is a commitment to data-informed iteration and optimization. You must possess a proactive approach to A/B testing and performance analysis.
Variation Generation:
You will be highly comfortable and adept at building multiple variations of a single edit (e.g., different hooks, calls-to-action, pacing, or music) specifically for testing purposes across various channels.
Performance Optimisation:
You will be expected to review performance insights (e.g., click-through rates, view duration, conversion rates) provided by the marketing team and apply these learnings directly to subsequent and ongoing edits, continuously refining the video content to achieve superior results. This requires a strong understanding of how editorial choices impact key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (primary tool).
Create short-form social content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts) and paid ad videos.
Edit from storyboard:
build the structure, pacing, and hook
select B-roll
add subtitles, overlays, call-to-action frames
Create multiple variations per asset (for testing and iteration).
Export in required formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
Basic audio cleanup and balancing.
Work closely with designers and content team for brand consistency.
Maintain workflow discipline:
file naming
version control
upload proofs and finals
Tools & Environment
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects (optional but preferred)
CapCut Pro (optional, for speed)
Stock libraries (where applicable)
Jira, Confluence, Google Drive
Basic AI tools for ideation (optional; verified outputs only)
Requirements
4–6 years of video editing experience (agency experience preferred)
Strong portfolio with short-form edits and ads
Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality
Strong storytelling sense: hooks, pacing, retention
Comfortable with revisions and structured feedback
Good To Have:
Motion graphics skills in After Effects
Experience producing healthcare/education content
Experience editing UGC(User Generated Content) - style ads
Basic colour grading and sound design
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days):
Produces a consistent pipeline of weekly edits for assigned accounts.
Delivers at least 8–12 short-form videos per month with variations.
Builds a reusable editing system: intro/outro templates, caption styles, transitions.
Demonstrates measurable improvement in retention and engagement through iterations.
