Junior Non-Key Expert (JNKE) – Regional Coordination Specialist Qualifications required

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline

Proficiency in English; ASEAN language skills are an asset

Strong organisational and coordination skills

Experience with hybrid event management and digital collaboration platforms

Professional experience required General Professional Experience

Minimum three (3) years of experience in regional cooperation, international development, or clean energy programmes

Demonstrated experience in workshop organisation and stakeholder engagement

Experience working across ASEAN Member States

Specific Professional Experience

Knowledge of ASEAN institutional frameworks and regional policy dialogue mechanisms

Experience supporting energy cooperation programmes or clean energy initiatives

Strong stakeholder coordination and documentation skills

Experience managing hybrid workshops and digital knowledge platforms

Position length 28 working days (18 home-based; 10 mission days in ASEAN Member State – tbc) Assignment period: April 2026 – July 2026

Responsibilities The JNKE will support the coordination and implementation of the Technical Workshop: “Power-to-X Applications – Pathways for ASEAN's Clean Energy Value Chains.” The expert will support all sessions through:

Regional stakeholder coordination

Participant outreach and logistics management

Consolidation of technical materials and case studies

Documentation of workshop proceedings and recommendations

Follow‑up coordination and dissemination of outcomes

The role supports policy dialogue, regional engagement, and workshop delivery but does not involve leading technical sessions.
