Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Research and Analysis:

Study maritime industry trends, sea transhipment statistics, and logistics technology integration.

Business Plan:

Develop a detailed and growth strategies business plan that includes an environmental impact assessment, logistics analysis and projections for costs and revenues.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and adhere to share allocation as stipulated by Indonesian shipping laws, prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law‑established rules and guidelines.

Market and Customer Insights:

Engage with the existing and prospective customers (in tandem with the marketing division), responsible for the development of the company’s services, competitors, and business position in the market.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in any field.

Mandarin and English fluent in reading, writing, and speaking.

Minimum 8 years of working experience as business development, marketing, or a similar position in the shipping industry.

Good understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the shipping industry.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
