Job Description
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and semi‑annual environmental management and monitoring reports to appropriate authorities.
Manage environmental reporting and demonstrate strong proficiency in environmental systems such as SIMPEL, SIRAJA, and SPARING.
Ensure effective management of solid waste, hazardous waste, and non‑hazardous waste in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure reclamation and revegetation programs are implemented effectively and achieve approved targets.
Implement, monitor, and maintain compliance systems related to environmental permits, statutory requirements, and mining environmental regulations.
Oversee the execution of environmental management and monitoring activities (water, air quality, noise, hazardous waste, and soil) in accordance with AMDAL, RKL, RPL, PERTEK, and RINTEK across all phases of mining operations (pre‑construction, construction, operations, and post‑operations).
Support internal and external audits, including ISO 14001, PROPER assessments, and regulatory compliance audits.
Conduct environmental risk assessments, hazard identification, and develop supporting documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, and Environmental Parameter Standards.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships and coordination with internal stakeholders (cross‑functional teams) and external parties, including regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma/Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science/Forestry.
At least 3‑5 years of experience as an Environmental Officer/Supervisor, preferably in nickel mining.
Good understanding of environmental monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
Proficient operating Microsoft Office, GIS, CAD, AMDALNET, SIMPEL, SIRAJA, SPARING.
Possess relevant environmental training or certification (POP, PPPA/PPPU/PLB3, Reclamation, ISO 14001, SMKP MINERBA).
Strong knowledge of environmental regulation, permits, and compliance (AMDAL, RKL, RPL, PERTEK, RINTEK).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills.
Willing to be placed at the Head Office in Jakarta.
