Principal Electrical Engineer

You will lead and develop a team of engineering staff in the maintenance of electrical distribution networks and installations for PSA port’s electrical infrastructure, including buildings, substations and terminal facilities. You will also manage manpower, budget and resources; and oversee projects from design inception, preparation of specifications, implementation to completion to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and specifications.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

Managing the O&M team and working closely with LEW to oversee the maintenance and operation of PSA’s ElectricalDistributionNetwork,

Leading a team of engineers in the design, development and commissioning of electrical distribution network and SCADA system at PSA terminals,

Leading the engineering team in the attendance and investigation of power network equipment breakdown and restoration works,

Supporting the building M&E team in the design, project management and maintenance of LV distribution network for smart building and data centre UPS system.

Requirements

Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 9 1kV or Professional Engineer certification with LEW Grade 8

At least 8 years of strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in HV and LV electrical distribution network installation and/or maintenance of electrical building services

Willing to perform operations, maintenance and site commissioning works at PSA terminals in Pasir Panjang and Tuas
