Associate Procurement Manager
Job Description
Responsible to manage end to end process of small to large purchases, with medium to high level of complexity through RFx processes, including negotiating to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies.
Responsible to ensure the tender strategies, tender documentations and tender decisions are in compliance with prevailing policy and procedures.
Responsible to do contract settlement of any sourcing result.
Review existing contract to ensure that the contracts are up-to-date, free of legal weaknesses, and consistent with current business.
Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships, including maintaining the Vendor Database.
Spend analysis and reporting to track and report the key functional metrics to define cost optimization and improve effectiveness.
Responsible to manage day‑to‑day procurement operations.
Responsible to manage vendor performance evaluation.
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Control spend and build a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costs.
Demonstrate a “best in class” procurement practices in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive strategic sourcing activities.
Job Requirements
5-7 years of sourcing experience in various IT (hardware and software) procurement areas.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools to drive and influence business decisions.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proper knowledge in spend and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision‑making.
Excellent communication (both written and oral) in English and Bahasa.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels with strong adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Thrives on challenges in a fast‑paced environment where quality and speed are of essence.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Drive initiatives for streamlining processes and procedures on relevant subjects.
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, initiate projects to create new efficiencies and effectively manage time while meeting deadlines.
Project management experience is a plus.
