Business Portfolio Manager

Role Description

The Junior Portfolio Manager / Account Executive supports the management of portfolio companies while acting as a key coordination and communication point between founders, internal teams, and external stakeholders. This role combines portfolio monitoring with relationship management, supporting the execution of strategic, financial, and operational initiatives across portfolios. ____

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Act as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned portfolio companies under supervision of senior team members. •⁠ ⁠⁠Support relationship management with founders and key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups. •⁠ ⁠⁠Assist in monitoring portfolio performance, including tracking targets, financial reports, and business updates. •⁠ ⁠⁠Coordinate requests, timelines, and deliverables between portfolio companies and internal consulting teams. •⁠ ⁠⁠Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for internal reviews and portfolio updates. •⁠ ⁠⁠Assist with investment-related tasks such as cap table tracking, basic valuation analysis, and documentation support. •⁠ ⁠⁠Coordinate with finance and legal teams or external advisors on governance, compliance, and shareholder matters. •⁠ ⁠⁠Maintain organized records and documentation for each portfolio company. _____

Requirements / Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree (minimum S1) in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. •⁠ ⁠⁠Preferably extroverted and comfortable building relationships with founders, partners, and internal teams. •⁠ ⁠Basic understanding of business operations, finance, and investment fundamentals. •⁠ ⁠⁠Strong communication skills with a structured and professional approach. •⁠ ⁠⁠Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple portfolio accounts simultaneously. •⁠ ⁠⁠Proactive, responsive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced venture builder environment. •⁠ ⁠⁠Proficient in spreadsheets, presentations, and basic reporting tools. •⁠ ⁠⁠0–2 years of experience in account management, consulting, startups, finance, or related fields is preferred.
