Role Responsibilities

Assess crime scenes and check victims for vital signs, ensuring appropriate immediate actions are taken.

Obtain and document statements from complainants, witnesses, and suspects using digital recording and documentation tools.

Secure crime scenes, preserve evidence, and manage procedures until appropriate authorities or medical examiners arrive.

Maintain comprehensive investigative records, track suspect files, and prepare detailed reports for review.

Utilize investigative databases and crime scene management tools to manage evidence and case information.

Support AI model development by providing expert insights into investigative processes and case management workflows.

Perform digital image management and analysis to enhance crime scene documentation and reconstruction processes.

Requirements

Proficiency with National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database and DataWorks Plus Digital CrimeScene.

Strong experience using Microsoft Access, MySQL, and Microsoft Outlook or similar communication platforms.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Design 3D Eyewitness, and digital image or graphics management solutions.

Working knowledge of ESRI ArcView or other GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for accurate reporting and collaboration.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive investigative information responsibly.

Thorough understanding of investigative procedures and evidence preservation standards.
