Import & SNI Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced

Import & SNI Compliance Specialist

who will take full ownership of the

SNI certification process , including application, renewal (quotas), amendments, and regulatory coordination.

This role will be responsible for ensuring all imported products comply with Indonesian regulations, with SNI management as the primary focus. The position also oversees import documentation, customs clearance, and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end

SNI application, renewal, and amendment processes

Coordinate with

LSPro, surveyors, testing laboratories, and certification bodies

Prepare and submit complete SNI documentation

Ensure compliance with mandatory SNI regulations

Monitor regulatory updates from Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, and related authorities

Manage product testing requirements and follow up on certification timelines

Handle audits, surveillance inspections, and compliance reviews

Maintain SNI documentation database and validity tracking

Provide regulatory advice to management regarding new product imports

Manage import process from shipment arrangement to customs clearance

Ensure completeness of import documents (BL/AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Insurance, etc.)

Determine correct HS Code classification

Manage import permits and licenses (API, NIB, etc.)

Prepare monthly import and compliance reports

Maintain communication with Customs (Bea Cukai) when required

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 3–5 years experience handling

SNI certification (mandatory SNI preferred)

Strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations and customs procedures

Proven experience coordinating with LSPro and regulatory authorities

Familiar with HS Code classification and import documentation

Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and compliance mindset

Able to manage multiple certification timelines simultaneously

Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesian and English

Preferred Experience Experience in manufacturing or industrial products

Experience handling machinery import or technical products

Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems

Experience dealing with government audits or inspections
