Job Title: Foreign Exchange Officer

Overview: To safeguard the organization's financial performance by providing accurate analysis of foreign exchange markets and executing timely currency transactions. This position exists to minimize foreign exchange risk exposure, support the Treasury Manager with actionable market intelligence, and ensure efficient settlement of international payments.

What You Will Do:

Market Monitoring & Analysis: Journal and monitor global financial and FX markets for trends and opportunities.

Reporting & Presentation: Generate and present daily market analysis reports to the Treasury Manager (USD, SGD, MYR, JPY).

Macro & Geopolitical Research: Conduct research on macroeconomic and geopolitical factors influencing currency.

Trade Execution: Serve as the transaction maker for foreign exchange purchases and settlements.

Risk Management Support: Develop risk management and hedging techniques for foreign currency exposures.

Compliance & KYC: Fulfill KYC requirements with partner banks and stay informed on FX market regulations.

Partner Collaboration: Explore potential collaborations and products from payment partners.

Report Compilation: Compile daily, weekly, and monthly FX reports summarizing market trends.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as FX Researcher or Analyst, Bank Treasury Officer or Analyst, and other relevant experience.

Soft Skill Requirements:

Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex, multi-source data into coherent, logical conclusions.

Discipline & Risk Awareness: Rigorous adherence to trading plans, internal controls, and risk management protocols.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous organizational skills ensuring accuracy in reporting and transaction processing.

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Technical Skill Requirements:

Advanced Technical Analysis: Mastery of candlestick patterns, trendlines, support/resistance, Fibonacci, and indicators (RSI, MACD, MA).

Fundamental Analysis: Deep understanding of the impact of economic news (NFP, CPI), interest rates, and central bank policies on currency pairs.

Market & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of global financial markets, FX dynamics, macro‑economic research, and familiarity with FX regulatory requirements.

Platform Proficiency: Experience with financial software (Bloomberg, Reuters, MetaTrader) and banking systems (SWIFT, IBAN, internet banking, overseas settlement).

Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, financial modeling) for data analysis and reporting.
