Mechanic Sewing Machine Leader

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise mechanics in daily maintenance and repair activities. Ensure proper preventive maintenance schedules are implemented. Troubleshoot and repair sewing machines, cutting machines, and supporting equipment. Coordinate machine setup, installation, and relocation. Monitor machine performance and downtime, and implement improvement actions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance SOPs. Prepare maintenance reports and manage spare parts usage.

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience as

Mechanic Leader / Senior Mechanic

in garment manufacturing. Strong knowledge of sewing machines and garment production equipment. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Familiar with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.
