The Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is located in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), one of the most prestigious areas of Jakarta, Indonesia. It provides easy access to corporate offices, shopping centers, and entertainment venues. Open since July 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The hotel offers a range of rooms and suites designed with a blend of modern luxury and Indonesian culture. These accommodations are equipped with top-notch amenities and offer cityscape views. About the Role of
:
Reporting to theCommercial Director, the Director of Public Relations and Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of an annual strategic and integrated plan that is comprised of public relations, social media and marketing communications strategies that support the hotelโs business objectives, increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel and its Food & Beverage outlets, and contribute to driving traffic and revenues.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the PR and Marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development across the team.
Manage and collaborate with external agencies, creatives, influencers, and vendors to ensure consistent brand execution.
PR, Marketing & Brand Strategy
Develop and execute an integrated PR, social media, and marketing communications strategy aligned with the hotelโs business objectives.
Curate and manage the hotelโs premium digital brand image, ensuring consistency across all owned and earned channels.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on brand positioning, reputation management, and communications planning.
Source, support, and help secure key and marquee social events, leveraging the hotelโs brand, media reach, and partnerships to drive high-profile visibility and demand.
Content, Digital & Media Management
Lead a creative content and storytelling strategy across the website, app, OTAs, social media, and other digital platforms to drive engagement and brand affinity.
Oversee the hotelโs digital content ecosystem, defining KPIs, monitoring performance, tracking ROI, and optimizing channel effectiveness.
Manage brand imagery and visual assets, including photography, videography, print collateral, and publications, in line with luxury standards.
Media, Influencer, Events & Reputation Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media and luxury travel influencers.
Lead media relations activities including story pitching, media visits, fam trips, partnerships, photo shoots, and hosted experiences.
Collaborate with Sales, Catering, and Events teams to attract, assist in closing, and promote high-profile social, lifestyle, and cultural events, positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for marquee occasions.
Oversee internal and external communications, manage media enquiries, and support social PR initiatives.
Proactively monitor public sentiment, online reviews, and social conversations, leading issue and crisis communications when required.
Collaboration, Analytics & Performance
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, Catering, and Creative teams to support campaigns, launches, and promotional initiatives.
Manage marketing and PR budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and measurable return on investment.
Utilize digital analytics and media monitoring tools to evaluate campaign performance, report insights, and drive data-led decision-making.
Key Competencies & Experience
Minimum 5+ yearsโ experience in a senior PR, communications, or marketing leadership role within luxury hospitality, travel, tourism, or premium lifestyle brands.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams with an authentic, strategic, and collaborative leadership style.
Strong storytelling, content creation, and brand management expertise.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of creativity with a refined sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
Proficiency in social media platforms, digital marketing tools, analytics, and media monitoring systems.
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing (highly regarded).
