Motorised PMA Service Technician

Responsibilities

Support various functions as assigned by Kampung Senang Charity and Education Foundation

Assisting the Centre Manager to oversee Mobility Aids Services and Training Centre including overseeing all environmental safety aspects of premises

Servicing, maintenance and repair of mobility devices and equipment such as electronic or manual wheelchairs, electric scooters, commodes, walking sticks, etc.

Assist with community outreach, event planning, and fundraising efforts.

Contribute to team success through proactive collaboration and commitment to the foundation's mission.

Assume administrative duties, ensuring seamless daily operations.

Engage with volunteers and donors to foster a supportive environment.

Qualifications

3-5 years mechanical and electrical experience; specific experience in mobility equipment, e.g. motorised wheelchair , electric scooter is preferable

A basic understanding of electronics and electronic control systems.

Good diagnostic/fault finding skills

Practical, hands‑on and can‑do attitude, and willingness to learn and follow company procedures

Excellent communication skills, and the patience and understanding required to deal with our client base of disabled persons and vulnerable seniors.

Preferred: Class 3 driving license to be able to do on‑site servicing for stay‑alone seniors or PWDs.

Able to carry heavy loads.
