COMPLIANCE STAFF (SECURITY TRADE CONTROL)

COMPLIANCE STAFF (SECURITY TRADE CONTROL) Bachelor degree in Law International Business, Industrial Engineering, Management Logistic, Accounting or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years experience in export control customs compliance or trade laws.

Familiar with national and international export control regimes, e.g. Wassenaar, NSG, US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Minamata convention, Stockholm convention, etc.

Familiar with strategic goods control regulations IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and IMDG code.

Strong analytical/investigative skills and a proven work ethic with a desire to do more than is expected.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures and documentation requirements.

Able to work in a team or individually.

Proactive and detail oriented person.

Proficient in both spoken and written.

Job Descriptions Oversee and manage the company's day-to-day trade activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently, timely and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and the company’s processes.

Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and communicate these changes to relevant departments.

Support and guide operational teams on trade compliance issues.

Provide training to staff on compliance procedures and regulatory change.

Conduct Trade Compliance audit to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

Support the operationalization and maintenance of the company’s trade compliance program and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support in the classification of Harmonized System (HS) codes for the company’s products.

Support in Business Partner screening such as Denied Party Screenings.

Perform other duties as assigned.
