We're Hiring: Marketing and Communication Manager!
We are hiring a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead Company Indonesia’s marketing and communications function across brand, demand creation, community, digital and content. This role owns the marketing system and outcomes, not just campaigns. The Marketing & Communications Manager will be supported by a team of specialists; however, overall accountability for results, quality, and discipline remains fully with the Marketing & Communications Manager. This role operates within a matrix structure where branding and marketing frameworks are centrally defined at HQ, while execution is decentralized and locally adapted to deliver the most impactful outcomes in the Indonesian market.

Marketing and Communication Manager [Experience in premium, design-led, or B2B environments (architecture, materials, interiors, building products, lifestyle brands) will be advantageous]
Key Responsibilities
Own Company Indonesia’s branch end-to-end marketing strategy and operating model
Accountable for local execution, including but not limited to:
Campaign design and prioritization
Channel mix and activation strategy
Community, event, and market engagement
Resource and budget deployment within agreed guardrails
Develop and manage the annual marketing plan and budget, aligned to Indonesia's business priorities
Govern brand positioning, messaging, and content consistency across all channels
Translate HQ brand and marketing guidelines into locally relevant, high‑impact execution
Oversee local demand creation and lead/inquiry generation across:
Digital platforms
Events and activations
Showrooms
Community and partnership initiatives
Establish and enforce a content governance system to ensure consistency with HQ guidelines while enabling local adaptability
Lead and develop specialist teams covering:
Community Marketing
Digital Marketing
Creative/ Content Development
Act as a key local decision gate for marketing initiatives before escalation to HQ on centralized branding and marketing matters
Establish clear KPIs, reporting cadence, and ROI discipline
Partner closely with Sales, Showroom, and Operations to ensure marketing enables healthy and sustainable revenue generation
Leadership & Accountability Expectations
Delegates execution responsibilities but not accountability
Empowers teams within clear strategic, brand, and performance guardrails
Coaches, guides, and supervises without micromanaging
Takes ownership when things go wrong; blame‑shifting is not acceptable
Addresses underperformance through coaching and/or PIP, not control or avoidance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Management or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Master’s in Marketing/Communications) or recognised professional certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
8–12+ years in Marketing & Communications roles with measurable business outcomes
Proven experience managing multi‑channel marketing (digital, offline, events, community)
Demonstrated experience operating in a matrix organization
Track record of building and managing annual plans, budgets, KPIs, and reporting cadence
Experience leading specialist teams, not only generalist marketers
Strong commercial mindset with cost and ROI discipline
Experience in premium, design‑led, or B2B environments (architecture, materials, interiors, building products, lifestyle brands) will be advantageous
Experience translating HQ brand frameworks into effective local market execution
Comfort acting as a local decision authority while respecting central governance
Besides Bahasa Indonesia, strong fluency in English is mandatory
