Lead of Product Software Quality (Pekanbaru/Medan)

About the Role

Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and improving product quality standards, ensuring they align with the company's goals and industry best practices. Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, setting objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of quality consciousness within the team. Establish and enforce quality standards, procedures, and protocols across all stages of product development, from discovery to delivery, including quality of requirement that is created by Product Managers, quality of design that is created by Product Designers, and quality of code that is delivered by Engineers. Implement testing methodologies and tools to assess product functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience. This includes both manual and automated testing procedures. Identify areas for improvement in product quality, processes, and workflows, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with documentation as the baseline. Utilize data and metrics to track quality performance, analyze trends, and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Experience working in a team with agile development environment Good communication skills in English Strong problem-solving Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, manufacturing, and customer support, to address quality-related issues and drive product enhancements. Effectively communicate quality-related issues, strategies, and improvements to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields with minimum GPA 3.00 >8 years of experience in software testing. Min. 2 years of experience in automated testing. Expertise in Testing Automation Tools (e.g: Robot Framework). Expertise in Load Testing Tools (e.g: JMeter). Familiarity with Penetration Testing Tools. Experience in Behavior Driven Development. Willing to be placed in Pekanbaru or Medan.
