Business Unit Head - Ophthalmic

will be responsible for leading the Ophthalmic division, overseeing strategic planning, business growth, and operational excellence. This role requires strong industry expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to develop and maintain networks with key stakeholders in the ophthalmic sector. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Ophthalmic business unit, ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ophthalmology associations, hospitals, clinics, and regulatory bodies. Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets, and go-to-market strategies for new product launches. Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business expansion. Oversee pricing strategy and distribution channels, including hospitals, clinics, and optical retail networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, regulatory) to ensure business alignment and success. Requirements

Minimum of 8 years' managerial experience in the ophthalmic industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or eye-care). Established network within ophthalmology associations, hospitals, and healthcare regulators. Strong understanding of the ophthalmic market landscape, industry trends, and distribution channels. Demonstrated ability to build business strategies, manage budgets, and deliver results. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
