role at
Goodwork
We're a Canadian business studio that builds and runs internet companies. Our mission: to grow, be well, and improve people's lives.
We operate three businesses: a recruiting agency placing talented talent from underemployed regions with global employers, a video production agency creating content for brands like Nutella and Pepsi, and an eCommerce store selling overhead filming equipment to creators.
Our clients range from Fortune 500 food brands like Nutella, Pepsi, and Instacart to growing startups across North America, Europe, and Australia, spanning recruitment, video production, and creator economy sectors.
We've placed ~400 professionals in remote roles and built a 1,000+ talent community entirely through referrals, produced high‑stakes content for global brands, and become the go‑to recommendation for overhead filming gear in creator communities. Our founders are Canadian serial entrepreneurs each bringing nearly two decades of experience in tech startups, international development, and bootstrapping businesses in remote areas worldwide.
Our company values guide our team and shape our culture:
High‑Impact Thinking:
We prioritize high‑impact initiatives and execute them efficiently to drive long‑term value
Owning the Outcome:
We take full responsibility for results, removing obstacles and solving problems to deliver what we commit to
⚡ Balancing Speed + Precision:
We balance urgent action with careful execution, prioritizing thoughtfully to achieve both speed and excellence
Hungry for Growth:
We continuously seek personal and professional growth, using work as a platform for constant improvement
Unshakeable Integrity:
We maintain the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in all our actions
❤️ Deep Care:
We show genuine care for our team, clients, and work quality, leading with empathy and passion
We're a fully remote organization, headquartered in Canada and with 15 teammates across Canada, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Indonesia and Kenya, plus additional contractors across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We're high‑performing and demanding while caring for the whole person through wellness initiatives. We focus on improving systems, growing revenue, and increasing enterprise value without losing the human element. We use EOS to structure our work, review numbers weekly in L10 meetings, and connect monthly for team building. Slack, ClickUp, Google Meet, and Miro are our home base for daily communication, gifs, and connection.
About the Role
We're looking for a remote AI‑Powered SDR to drive sales growth across inbound, outbound, and partnership channels using AI‑assisted workflows to outperform traditional SDRs.
In this role, you'll nurture inbound leads, run outbound sequences, make strategic calls, generate and enrich prospect lists, personalize outreach at scale, manage pipeline hygiene, support partnership development, and create Looms and voice notes—all while moving prospects through the top of the funnel across three business lines (recruiting, video production, eCommerce).
This is a high‑energy execution role working directly with the Founder/CEO. You'll gain real‑time coaching, exposure to high‑level decision‑making, and an inside look at how a multi‑business bootstrapped operation runs its sales motion—including diagnosing pipeline gaps, writing effective sales copy, using AI to increase output, and managing complex lead flows. Email is your primary channel; calling is used strategically to accelerate conversations and convert high‑intent leads.
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 2‑4 years of SDR or BDR experience, but more importantly, you think like an owner. You're revenue‑obsessed—care about closed deals, not activity quotas. You're a self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity, figuring things out independently across three business lines. You geek out on copywriting—testing what converts and why. You spot patterns quickly—see what's working, double down. You orchestrate multi‑channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, video, voice, calls) intelligently. You learn fast from feedback and thrive being measured in weekly reviews. You adapt communication styles across North American, European, and Australian prospects. You're scrappy and resourceful—make things work without big budgets. You thrive with a Founder/CEO who expects rigour and supports your growth.
Your performance will be measured by sales generated, response speed to inbound leads, conversation quality (email + phone), outbound follow‑up consistency, pipeline hygiene, and conversion to booked meetings.
You’ll be part of the Growth team, and will collaborate across Operations and Finance. This position reports directly to the Founder.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Sourcing & List Building:
Build ICP‑filtered prospect lists using Apollo, Clay, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; enrich contacts with verified emails and phone numbers; identify buying signals through intent data; maintain 200‑500 active prospects per business line; leverage AI for accelerated research
Inbound Lead Response & Qualification:
Respond to new leads within 5 minutes; send personalized first‑touch emails; call high‑intent prospects to book meetings; manage 10‑20 active conversations daily; create Loom walkthroughs for complex questions
Outbound Prospecting & Sequences:
Run 3‑5 touch sequences across business lines; personalize templates with relevant case studies and pain points; re‑engage cold leads with fresh hooks; handle objections with alternative timelines; call when email momentum stalls; use AI to test message variants; record personalized Looms and voice notes for VIP prospects; maintain Airtable campaign profiles with enriched prospect data
Channel Partnership Development:
Reach out to complementary service providers for referral partnerships; create partner one‑pagers and co‑marketing materials; coordinate joint webinars; onboard new partners; schedule intro calls between the Founder/CEO and warm partnership leads; track partner‑sourced leads in ClickUp
Pipeline Management & CRM Discipline:
Update ClickUp stages, next actions, and close dates; log notes after every interaction; maintain clean lead statuses; complete follow‑ups on time; run weekly pipeline reviews
SalesOps & Performance Analysis:
Pull weekly reports on response rates, conversions, and pipeline velocity; troubleshoot tool issues (Smartlead, Apollo); optimize email deliverability; document winning sequences; conduct win/loss analysis
Sales Content & Enablement:
Write customer success blog posts; create case studies from closed deals; develop partnership solution briefs; gather testimonials; draft campaign landing pages; update sales decks; maintain collateral library
Skills & Qualifications
2‑4 years of prior experience in SDR, BDR, Account Development Rep, or similar outbound/inbound sales roles

Understands ICPs, buyer personas, and employer pain points across different markets
Fluent with AI tools for research, copywriting, and personalization at scale
Maintains clean CRM with accurate data and timely follow‑ups
Responds to new leads within minutes
Hungry hunter mindset—relentless about generating and converting leads
Resourceful—finds new lead sources and tests new tactics
