Industry: Global Industrial Fluid-Flow & Gas Technology Manufacturing

A leading global engineering and manufacturing organization within the industrial fluid-flow and pressurized gas technology sector is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across the APAC region.

This role is suited for a commercially driven professional with strong technical aptitude and experience in industrial application sales.

Role Overview The Sales Representative will lead territory sales efforts across Asia Pacific, driving revenue growth for both products and services through value-based selling.

You will develop new industrial business opportunities, manage key stakeholder relationships, and build a structured sales pipeline to achieve order input targets aligned with business objectives.

This role reports to the APAC Business Development Manager and requires extensive regional travel (60–70%).

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Territory Growth

Develop new industrial projects across APAC within assigned territories or segments

Engage end clients, distributors, consulting engineers, and main contractors

Identify and cultivate new opportunities within defined geographical markets

Drive order intake in line with budgeted sales targets

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

Utilize CRM systems to track opportunities and build structured winning strategies

Develop and manage a factored sales pipeline with accurate forecasting

Move opportunities systematically through each pipeline stage

Conduct competitor analysis and gap assessments within account plans

Prepare structured sales plans to improve conversion rates

Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement

Manage customer-facing activities with support from marketing, engineering, and management teams

Align internal capabilities with customer expectations

Provide feedback on technical issues, competitive positioning, and market intelligence

Support product and service development initiatives for the responsible market

Commercial & Proposal Management

Prepare quotations and proposals aligned with customer specifications

Utilize internal quoting systems and tools effectively

Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission

Manage contract discussions and customer expectations

Operational & Travel Requirements

Travel regionally (60–70%) to manage territory effectively

Attend sales meetings, conferences, and training sessions

Manage operating expenses in line with budget

Maintain strong time management and structured journey planning

Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA advantageous)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial application sales

At least 2 years’ exposure to industrial fluid pumping and/or pressurized gas systems

Strong understanding of value-based technical selling

Technical & Systems Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project

Ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively

Core Competencies

Excellent communication and customer engagement skills

Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving ability

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Willingness to travel extensively across APAC
