Music Teacher

Job Summary As a Music Teacher at Sparks Music, you will inspire and guide students through fun, structured, and progressive music learning journeys. You will conduct both private and group lessons, focusing on technique, musicality, and performance confidence. You’ll also help shape Sparks’ unique “Adventure-Based Learning” experience that makes music education engaging and memorable for children. Conduct Lessons Deliver high-quality private and/or group lessons aligned with Sparks’ curriculum and teaching standards. Adapt teaching approach to suit students’ learning pace and personality. Student Progress & Evaluation Monitor and record students’ progress through practice tracking and periodic assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Performance & Recital Preparation Guide students in preparing for recitals, exams, and internal performances. Support in organizing showcases and student evaluation events. Curriculum & Material Development Collaborate with the Curriculum Team to refine lesson content and teaching resources. Recommend improvements to enhance engagement and learning outcomes. Professional Conduct & Collaboration Maintain a professional and positive environment during lessons. Collaborate with other teachers and the operations team to ensure smooth scheduling and classroom readiness.

Requirements Education & Certification Bachelor’s Degree in Music OR International Certification equivalent to ABRSM Grade 6 or higher / Trinity / RockSchool equivalent Experience Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a music school or private setting. Proven ability to teach children aged 4–15 is highly preferred. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents. Passionate, patient, and creative teaching style. Ability to teach more than one instrument (e.g., piano, violin, guitar, drums, vocal) is a plus point. Additional Attributes Positive and energetic personality.
