General Manager General Affairs

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of facility management and general affairs across all hospital units.

Manage maintenance, engineering, and housekeeping teams to ensure service excellence and safety.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building, utilities, and medical equipment support systems.

Ensure compliance with hospital regulations, safety standards, and government requirements.

Manage vendor relations, budgeting (RAB), procurement, and service contracts.

Lead improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and cost control.

Oversee hospital waste management processes , including hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with environmental and health regulations.

Coordinate and manage vendors

involved in waste management, maintenance, utilities, construction, and other facility-related services.

Participate in and support new building development projects , including planning, coordination with contractors/consultants, reviewing technical specifications, and ensuring operational readiness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).

Minimum 8 years of experience in facility management or general affairs, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to oversee large teams.

Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, and project management abilities.

Good understanding of hospital safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Experience in managing waste disposal processes and coordinating with relevant waste management vendors.

Exposure to building construction or expansion projects , including collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
