What You Will Do

Perform basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities.

Conduct routine communications with customers and address their needs to ensure satisfaction.

Inspect clients’ HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.

Operate and manage Water Cooled and Air Cooled Chillers.

Provide high‑level service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items.

Service Technician Duties & Responsibilities

Travel to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Install, test, and commission air‑conditioning equipment; perform contract maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and repair.

Diagnose HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects, adjust, and repair systems while performing warranty services.

Ensure compliance with appliance standards and occupational health & safety requirements.

Document and submit service reports, test results, and time sheets accurately.

Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.

Assist in training new technicians and participate in technical training.

Provide recommendations to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities.

Work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.

Service Technician Requirements

High school diploma or suitable equivalent.

3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.

Understanding of advanced air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.

Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.
