Khiri Core - Impact Khiri Travel
The multi-dimensional functional team - spanning general management, systems and processes, finance, product, operations, sales and the like- seated at our Nonthaburi group office, proactively supports and monitors progress across functional disciplines as well as country operating units and group performance in aggregate. Khiri Core team members are functional experts that work together - under the leadership of the Khiri Core Group Director - to deliver best practices, proactive support and training tools, and insightful, value-adding feedback.

Job Scope
The
Assistant General Manager (AGM)
plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring Khiri Travel Indonesia's distinctive experiences and preferred product portfolio are successfully promoted and commercially optimized. The AGM is not only a brand ambassador for Khiri’s curated experiences, but also a bridge between product development, sales performance, and supplier relations. While a key member of Khiri Indonesia's Creative Team, the AGM assumes expanded responsibilities in managing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, ensuring alignment with market trends, and supporting the General Manager in business development and operational oversight. The role is ideal for a commercially driven, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional travel experiences.

Works closely with:
Product & Account Management and Creative Teams of Khiri Indonesia, and Khiri Core’s Partnership Development Team
Key Responsibilities
Maintain deep market insight and remain ahead of travel trends to ensure Khiri’s offerings stay relevant, compelling, and commercially viable.
Strengthen commercial partnerships with hotels, guides, and local suppliers—including rate negotiations, contract evaluations, and alignment with product strategy
Collaborate with Sales, Contracting, and Creative teams to ensure experiences and accommodations are effectively documented, marketed, and differentiated
Serve as a key liaison between Product & Account Management and Khiri Core’s global business development teams
Represent Khiri at trade shows, international partner events, and FAM trips, delivering compelling product presentations
Analyze agent feedback and production reports to identify opportunities for growth and product improvement
Deliver internal and partner-facing product training to ensure knowledge, consistency, and confidence in Khiri’s offerings
Champion and strategically promote Khiri Indonesia ’s portfolio of curated experiences and preferred suppliers across markets and platforms
Keep product content and platforms (e.g. Khiri Agent Hub) up to date and market-aligned
Support the GM with strategic planning, staff mentorship, and high-level partner or supplier relations as needed

What we look for
A confident and persuasive communicator, skilled in relationship-building across cultures and sectors
An outstanding public speaker and natural connector, with a dynamic presentation presence and the ability to think on your feet. You are equally comfortable and engaging whether speaking with a CEO, a key B2B client, or one of our local guides
A passionate traveler and advocate of immersive, sustainable tourism
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Proven experience managing key supplier relationships and rate contracts
Enjoys working independently and across departments—flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented
Inspires others through knowledge-sharing and by leading by example
At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably within a DMC, with exposure to product, contracting, and account management
Fluent in English, other European language skills are a strong advantage
Willing and able to travel regularly within Indonesia and occasional international travel
