Technical Solutions Consultant (System Sales Engineer)

As a Senior Advance Application/System Sales Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's growth and success. You will lead a team of skilled sales engineers and collaborate with various departments to promote our complex applications and system solutions. Your responsibilities will include formulating and executing sales strategies, providing technical expertise, and building strong customer relationships.
In this role, you will impact the success of our organization by driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients\' needs.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for regional opportunity pipeline development and management, tracking key business metrics, and quarterly business update/review
Drive business development in Southeast Asia region by positioning incremental and recurring software
Conduct consulting engagements such as needs discovery, workshops, benchmarking and master planning to determine customer needs and develop solution opportunities
Coordinating with cross functional teams involving Operations, product management, proposal and estimations, to position right Honeywell Connected Industrial Solution
Define and communicate the value proposition of software products or services through product presentations and demonstrations, to highlight key features, benefits, and competitive advantages
MUST HAVE
Hands-on consulting experience in process industries, delivering Solution Consulting / digital transformation, or operational excellence programs
4 years of progressive
software sales
and/or consulting experience
Domain knowledge in at least one core vertical ( Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Mining Power )
Background with industry experience in enabling Digitization, Business applications like Process historian, Production accounting, Asset Performance Management, Alarm management, Process simulation, Advanced Process Control, Operator Training simulators
Strong understanding of OT. IT environments (DCS, historians, APC, AI/ML, Operation Management, data platforms)
Ability to lead customer workshops from Day 1
Experience translating business problems into scalable digital solutions
Executive-level communication skills, able to engage plant leadership and leadership
Proven experience working in regional customer environments and understand Market and Competitive landscape

Strong business and technical acumen, and ability to drive growth initiatives
Proven ability to engage C-level contacts for the purpose of solution selling, establishing peer relationships, articulating strategic vision, and closing deals with clientโs business, IT and Operations leaders
Experience with Competitive Solutions
Consulting background (industrial consulting firms)
Experience supporting sales pursuits and shaping Enterprise deals
Knowledge of integrated operations, functional architectures, financial models, and impact of technology, and able to translate business needs into functional requirements
