Join AKRUA Consulting as an Associate and play a vital role in delivering accounting, finance, and tax compliance services. You’ll prepare financial statements, assist in back‑office processes, and help identify opportunities to improve our clients’ operations. Working closely with your team and leaders, you’ll gain practical exposure that builds your technical and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform business process analysis to identify potential improvement opportunities using cloud‑based accounting solutions (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Jurnal.id, and etc).

Prepare and support monthly financial reports for clients.

Analyze monthly financial performance against operational and business metrics.

Handle tax compliance relevant to client operations, including VAT, withholding tax, and annual corporate income tax filings.

Support client communication by explaining financial and tax matters clearly and professionally.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.

Experienced at least 2 years in the accounting, finance, or tax‑related roles.

Prior experience in consulting, audit, or tax consulting will be advantageous.

Familiarity with cloud accounting software (Xero and/or similar platforms) is a plus.

Presentable and professional in communication and appearance.

Strong communication skills are preferred as the role involves client communications.

Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
