Job Description

As a Business Development Consultant, you will spearhead business development initiatives across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and regional markets, with a strong focus on recruitment and workforce placement solutions. This role requires a consultative sales mindset, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead business development initiatives across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and regional markets, focusing on recruitment, manpower outsourcing, and workforce placement solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with multinational corporations, SMEs, and government-linked companies to support permanent and contract hiring needs.

Develop, present, and negotiate service agreements, ensuring smooth client onboarding and long-term partnerships.

Collaborate closely with internal recruitment and operations teams to align candidate sourcing strategies with client expectations and project timelines.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, monitor hiring trends, and expand service offerings into new industries and sectors.

Identify and manage key accounts while achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets through consultative selling and strategic relationship management.

Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and business forums to strengthen brand presence and generate leads.

Expand and diversify the client portfolio through new partnerships and strategic accounts.

Contribute to the streamlining of client engagement processes, improving service turnaround time and client satisfaction.

Conduct thorough market and industry research to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and high-potential clients.

Analyze market data and competitor activities to develop effective go-to-market and sales strategies.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term retention.

Establish and nurture new relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.

Proactively identify and target potential clients through cold outreach, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital platforms.

Lead negotiations on pricing, service scope, and contracts to secure new business opportunities and maximize profitability.

Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Recruitment Consulting.

Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within recruitment, HR services, or professional services.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable working in a target-driven, regional, and fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
