Junior QA Engineer

Job Overview On behalf of our client in the IT industry, we are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and support the development process in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on web or mobile applications. Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools. Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct API testing and validate data using basic SQL queries. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer or QA Automation. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Cypress, or similar tools. Basic understanding of API testing and SQL. Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.
