Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

You will assist occupational therapists in conducting individual or group therapy, setting up of equipment, inventory control and general administrative duties. Requirements

GCE ‘O’ / ‘N’ Level / WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), Certificate in Therapy Services Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. basic MS Word, Excel) Able to handle physically demanding work, which includes transferring of patients and maintenance/cleaning of rehabilitative equipment Proficient in a local language and/or dialect (in order to liaise with local language and/or dialect speaking patients) Experience in using an electric sewing machine would be advantageous Team player with good interpersonal skills
