Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, reporting directly to Head of Civil, Structural & Pipeline to join our team based in Jakarta.

About the role: Perform as Leads / sub-lead / senior engineer in project execution and takes the ownership of the specific tasks in a project:

Technical responsibility of Material Requisition.

Performing Design Calculations.

Coordination with other disciplines.

Forecasting of MTO’s for his design area.

Correctly interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, bathymetric survey, metocean data for the incorporation into structural design basis.

Ensures an optimum engineering design compliance to codes and performance and timely issuance of engineering deliverable to client.

Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering.

Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions.

Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers- Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget.

Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the group leader.

Meets quality objectives of the project.

Interfaces with other discipline specialist Engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.

Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior engineering employees.

About you:

Engineering Degree in Civil or Structural with minimum 15 years' experience in Design and execution of the projects in offshore facilities.

Minimum 3.5 in CGPA or 2nd Class Upper.
