PCB Draughtsman / Designer (On-site in Abu Dhabi)

Data pack support on the Electronic/electrical production of the various products. Electronic data pack responsibility for printed circuit board (PCB), schematic capture, layouts and bill of material (BOM) generation.

Responsibilities: Establish of an in house E-CAD drawing office function for Halcon Establish and maintain a master component library for ECAD that will conform to institute for printed circuits (IPC) standards. Manufacturing data packs for Halcon products as well as maintenance thereof. Knowledge on how PCB’s should fit into a mechanical subsystem. Mentoring juniors. E-CAD expert IPC design guidelines PCB Manufacturing drawings Advance knowledge of Altium software Mechanical data pack generation and management Novice knowledge of Zuken and Mentor Graphics E-CAD configuration management and change control

Qualifications: At least 10 years of related experience in the Engineering industry Relevant Mechanical or Electronic qualification Degree, diploma or technical certificate. Must have a broad general knowledge of engineering: 1. Electronic designs 2. PCB manufacturing process
