Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer 40 is responsible for providing initial support to production workers, assisting in equipment installation and process enhancements, implementing design changes, optimizing production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and documenting maintenance records to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The role serves as an entry‑level engineer, offering first‑line support to production workers and operators, executing work instructions, and adhering to quality, safety, regulatory and legal requirements.

Your Role

Acts as an entry‑level engineer and provides initial first‑line support and assistance to production workers and operators, serving as the primary point of contact to resolve manufacturing‑related issues.

Assists in executing work instructions and adheres to embedded quality standards, including compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental and legal requirements.

Supports execution of equipment installation and provides basic help during the ramp‑up phase for specific processes, ensuring smooth integration and operation of machinery.

Assists in the implementation of basic design changes, ensuring seamless integration of Life Cycle Management (LCM) design modifications within the site’s manufacturing processes.

Assists in implementing basic enhancements in manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to drive quality and efficiency improvements, and monitors performance after project handover.

Applies lean manufacturing principles, employing methodologies to streamline production processes, minimize waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency.

Conducts safe processes in compliance with local and federal regulations, and promptly addresses any observed safety concerns across all operational areas.

Assists in documenting Device History Records (eDHR) and maintains a comprehensive revision history for maintenance.

Measures tool and equipment calibrations, keeps detailed records of issues for troubleshooting documentation, and executes Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) on products as needed.

You're The Right Fit If You Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

At least 3+ years’ experience designing and setting up new equipment or machines for manufacturing processes.

Hands‑on PLC control and PLC programming (structured text and ladder diagram).

Experience with multi‑axis robotic arm programming is a plus.

Ability to read/write electrical flow charts and schematic diagrams.

Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD/CAM software, preferably SolidWorks.

English competency is a must.
