Role Description – IT Operations and Support Specialist
This is a contract, on‑site position based in Tebet, Jakarta, with the possibility of converting to a full‑time role based on performance. This position is responsible for providing technical support across Paesa’s Head Office and nationwide project sites. The IT Support Specialist ensures smooth daily operations, manages IT assets and software licensing, maintains data security, and delivers training to improve digital adoption, especially across Google Workspace and core operational tools.
The role is critical in supporting Paesa’s transition toward a fully integrated IT ecosystem, including future implementation of a new end‑to‑end ERP system and BIM adoption across national road projects.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Helpdesk Operations
Provide day‑to‑day technical support to Head Office and site teams (Sumatra, Papua, and nationwide project locations)
Troubleshoot issues related to internet connectivity, email, Google Workspace tools, printers, device errors, malware/virus removal, and general user support
Set up IT infrastructure for new employees and new project mobilizations, including laptops, Wi‑Fi, email accounts, security configurations, and remote access tools
Provide remote support for site teams using remote‑control tools
Google Workspace Administration & Digital Training
Manage company Google Workspace accounts (email, calendar, drive, access control, storage policies)
Deliver regular training sessions to Head Office and Site teams on: Google Drive and shared folder management, Gemini AI usage for productivity, communication and collaboration workflows
Act as the first point of contact for supporting and maximizing the adoption of Google Workspace
IT Asset Management, Licensing, & On‑Site Technology
Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all IT assets across HQ and all project sites: laptops, PCs, printers, servers, CCTV systems, network equipment, etc.
Manage software licensing across the company (Windows, Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools, and other engineering software), ensure legal compliance and cost efficiency
Oversee IT hardware lifecycle, repairs, replacements, and coordination with vendors
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV systems to ensure security and audit readiness for project sites and Head Office, including troubleshooting video storage, connectivity, and system uptime issues
Data Protection and Backups
Perform routine data backups across Head Office and all active project sites, ensuring protection of (not exhaustive): RAB, Technical Drawings, Contracts & legal documents, Financial files
Monitor and maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and network security protocols
Prevent cyber risks such as ransomware, data loss, unauthorized access, and internal misuse
Support server monitoring and basic maintenance (working together with vendors when needed)
ERP & Digital Transformation Support (Future Growth)
Assist in ERP rollout support, data migration, and user onboarding
Support integration of new digital tools, including BIM, construction management systems, and engineering software
Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university
Minimum 2‑4 years proven experience in IT Support, IT Operations, or Helpdesk roles
Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable supporting both technical and non‑technical users nationwide (Head Office and Site teams)
Capable of delivering training on digital tools (Google Workspace, IT best practices, backups, etc.)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail for documentation and asset tracking
Willing to collaborate with multiple departments and support project sites across Indonesia
Fast learner, especially with new ERP systems, engineering software, and BIM‑related tools
Experience working in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or multi‑site operations is a strong advantage
Experience supporting distributed teams across regions/sites is a plus
Technical Requirements
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace administration (e.g. Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Gemini AI, etc.)
Strong hands‑on skills in troubleshooting laptops, PCs, networks, Wi‑Fi, printers and remote support tools
Experience managing IT assets (e.g. hardware, servers, CCTV) and software licensing (e.g. Windows, Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools)
Adequate knowledge of data security practices, antivirus management, and data protection protocols
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems
