Commis - Cold & Hot Kitchen

About the role We are seeking a talented Commis Chef (Cold / Hot Kitchen) to join our team at Chinese restaurant Bund House, PT. Golden Wei Culinary' in Jakarta Selatan. As a Commis - Cold / Hot Kitchen, you will be responsible for supporting our experienced chefs in the preparation and execution of delicious and visually appealing culinary creations. This is a full-time position that will allow you to develop your skills in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. What you'll be doing

Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of a variety of cold and hot dishes Ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean, well-maintained, and organised Following standardised recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistent quality and flavour Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably as a Commis Chef or in a similar role Formal culinary training or a relevant diploma/degree in Culinary Arts or a related field Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, visually appealing dishes Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment A team-player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team Proficiency in the Indonesian language, both written and spoken About us
