We Are Looking For
As the Senior Security Manager – Indonesia, you will be the single‑point owner of PDG’s security function in Indonesia, responsible for defining, implementing, and operating a comprehensive physical security and risk management program across data center projects and live operations.
This role is reporting directly to the Managing Director, Indonesia, with accountability for protecting PDG’s people, assets, customers, and critical infrastructure. You will work closely with country leadership, regional stakeholders, customers, and external partners to ensure PDG’s security posture meets regulatory, contractual, and global PDG standards.
Job Responsibilities
Security Strategy & Governance
Own and lead the
Indonesia country security strategy .
Develop, implement, and continuously improve
security policies, standards, procedures, and controls
across projects and operations.
Act as the
physical security subject matter expert (SME)
for Indonesia, advising senior management and project teams.
Projects & Operational Security
Provide security leadership for
greenfield developments, expansions, and operational data centers , ensuring security is embedded from design through steady‑state operations.
Oversee access control systems, surveillance, alarm monitoring, and other physical security technologies to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
Ensure smooth facility operations while maintaining compliance with
customer SLAs
and contractual obligations.
Incident, Risk & Compliance Management
Lead
incident management , investigation, escalation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions for security breaches or violations.
Design and drive a
comprehensive risk management program , including internal and third‑party security risk assessments with mitigation planning.
Ensure readiness and compliance with
industry certifications and audits
(e.g., ISO27001, ISO45001, SOC1/SOC2, PCI‑DSS) in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Vendors, Budget & Resources
Manage security SLAs with third‑party vendors including guarding services, system integrators, and OEMs.
Develop and manage the
security budget , driving cost efficiency without compromising risk posture.
Lead audits, drills, mock exercises (fire, scenario‑based incidents), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Leadership, Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Lead and oversee security personnel and external vendors, including hiring, training, performance management, and capability development.
Serve as the
primary security interface for customers , briefing clients on PDG’s physical security setup and addressing security‑related queries.
Maintain close coordination with
law enforcement agencies
and relevant authorities as required.
Foster a strong
security culture and awareness
across PDG Indonesia.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Minimum 10–12 years of relevant security experience, including senior‑level responsibility in large‑scale or critical infrastructure environments.
Strong experience in data center physical security, including technology, processes, and operations.
Proven capability managing vendors, SLAs, audits, and compliance programs.
Solid understanding of local regulations and security practices relevant to Indonesia.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently.
Other Added Advantage
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP), or similar.
