Job Description

Assistant Manager Maintenance & Engineering Maintenance Operations: Develop, implement, and audit preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure equipment functionality.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide hands‑on support for repairs, diagnose equipment failures, and oversee the installation of new machinery.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff while facilitating training and development.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct inspections, and ensure documentation meets industry standards.

Inventory & Budget Control: Manage spare parts inventory levels, ensure availability of critical parts, and assist in managing repair and maintenance budgets.

System Management: Utilize Maintenance Management Software (e.g., SAP) to create, track, and close work orders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in maintenance and engineering in ceramics manufacturing as Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor.

Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.

Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.

Ability to analyze equipment failure and implement root cause analysis (RCA).

Understanding of safety standards (HSE regulations).

Willingness to work flexible hours if required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Good command of English (spoken and written).
