Vendor Evaluation and Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead vendor evaluation and development processes. This role ensures vendor performance meets company standards through structured assessments, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage governance activities, resolve vendor issues, and support strategic sourcing through RFx coordination. Responsibilities Lead Monthly Vendor Performance Reviews: Coordinate technical evaluations with user departments, consolidate scoring, and deliver comprehensive performance reports. Manage Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely collection and validation of legal and financial documents for all vendors. Issue & Track Warning Letters: Facilitate resolution meetings, draft and process warning letters, and monitor corrective actions in the Warning Letter Database. Vendor Suspension & Blacklisting: Evaluate cases with Governance & Compliance, manage approval workflows, update vendor status in systems, and oversee recovery plans for reinstatement. RFx Process Management: Develop RFx documentation, shortlist qualified vendors, administer NDAs, and manage end-to-end RFx timelines, including cross-functional evaluations. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between internal teams and vendors to resolve operational issues and improve vendor performance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Economy, Management or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management or procurement. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Familiarity with procurement systems and compliance processes. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in English is a must
