R&D Section Head

Providing strategic direction and leadership to the R&D team, establishing a clear vision and roadmap for the development of new and innovative products Identifying and evaluating new technologies, materials, and processes that can be leveraged to enhance the company's product offerings and manufacturing capabilities Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments, including production, engineering, and sales, to ensure R&D efforts align with the company's overall business objectives Overseeing the design, testing, and prototyping of new products, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve and inform the company's R&D strategy Championing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation Managing and mentoring the R&D team, fostering their professional development and ensuring they have the resources and support to excel What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry or a related technical field; a postgraduate degree is highly desirable Minimum 8 years of proven experience in a similar R&D leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing PU Foam A strong technical background and expertise in product design, development, and testing, with a deep understanding of the latest manufacturing technologies and processes Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and identify innovative solutions Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical information to stakeholders A track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing teams, with a focus on talent development and continuous improvement West Jakarta, Jakarta, ID Bekasi, West Java, ID
